Iman Shumpert Youth Basketball Camp

We are proud to announce that OPRF Alumni and New York Knicks NBA First Team All-Rookie IMAN SHUMPERT is returning to Oak Park to host his Youth Basketball Camp this June 22-24.  Sign up soon as space is limited.

IMAN SHUMPERT YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP

DATES:  Three (3) Days – Friday, June 22, Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24

TIMES:  9am – 4pm Daily

LOCATION:  Oak Park River Forest High School (OPRF)- 201 North Scoville Avenue  Oak Park, IL 60302

CAMPERS:  Boys and Girls – going into 5th through 8th grades

CAMPERS RECEIVE:

Participants will each receive lunch each day, a T-shirt, camp branded reversible pinnie for games, individual photo with Shumpert, awards and instruction from some of the top coaches in the region.  They will take part in lectures, basketball drill stations, player evaluations, 5 on 5 games, basketball contests and educational sessions.

FEE:  $175 per camper

PROCEEDS:

Iman Shumpert’s proceeds from the camp will be donated to schools and charitable organizations that service the Oak Park Community.

Eagle Extras

During the final class of the Eagle Extra’s, Emerald City Theater Company classes Glee! (3-5) and Wizard of Oz (K-2) there will be a half-hour showcase featuring both classes performing what they have learned this session. It will take place in the auditorium on Tuesday May 21st at 3:30pm. Doors open at 3:25 and all are welcome! Thank-you everyone for your support of Eagle Extras!

BOX TOPS FOR EAGLES
The final draw for Box Tops for Education will be THIS Friday May 25th at 8am! If you would like your child to be included in the raffle for a cool end of year prize, box tops need to be turned in to the front office before 8am on 5/25 and must have your child’s name and their teachers name printed on the back of each coupon. Box Tops will, of course, be accepted at anytime till the end of the year. Stay tuned for information regarding our summer collection contest!
