Last Day of School Fun Stuff:

8am, after you drop off the kids, grab a cup of coffee and a donut from one of the PTO tables (1 in front, 1 in back). Feel free to hang out for a bit, or just run to work. (If nobody is at the table that moment, help yourself. We’re just still dropping off our own kids!)

2:20/2:30ish: Staff dance is on the blacktop. Don’t forget your camera!

5-7pm: End of Year Party is at Barrie Park! DJ, pizza, fun! In case of rain, we will let you know at 3pm if plans change. Unless it’s pouring horribly, consider the party on!

Plus, whatever the teachers have planned for your class!

Thank you from Mrs. Massarello

Dear Irving Families,
Thank you for enriching my life for the past 25 years. I have learned so much from you and I hope I have passed on the gifts of curiosity and wonder.
Thank you for the hugs, tears, gifts, and warm wishes as I leave the comfort of Irving and embark on a  new and exciting adventure. I will always have a special place in my heart for the Irving Community.
With love,
Marge Massarello

Box Tops For Education Summer collection contest!

Check your childs backpack this week for a baggie (we recycled them this year!) and help your child collect as many Box Tops as possible over summer break. (Extra bags can be found in the front office if you did not recieve one) Every child who turns in a bag to the front office during the first week of school will win a prize and all Box Tops collected over the summer will be entered into a *drawing for a chance to win movie passes!

Look for the official coupon on any Box Tops for Education product, cut it out (along the dotted line please), write your child’s first and last name and teacher’s name on the back, and place inside the Ziploc bag. Return the bag to the front office any time after August 22.

Be sure to register on-line at www.boxtops4education.com to see a full list of products, find out about promotions and sales, and enter contests.

Thank-you for your support of Irving and Box Tops!

*drawing to be held on Friday August 31 at 8am.
