|Lincoln School Earns Grant from Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation
The Lincoln PTO was awarded a $1000 grant from the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation’s Future Philanthropist Program, which will be used to create a community garden behind the school. The grant proposal was written by teachers Claire Bartell, Diane Conmy, Matthew Kuntz, Rebecca Meisinger and Lindsay Smith, parent Laura Hsieh and Principal Cathy Hamilton. Bus Buddies Program at Whittier
The March-April edition of the Whittier Greenleaf Newsletter features an article about the school’s Bus Buddies program that was written by students. Bus Buddies is a program that pairs up early childhood students with a fourth or fifth grader who helps them with bus dismissal each day. Please click here to read the article.
Award-Winning Documentary Now Showing at Lake Theatre
