  • Principal for the Day! Shadow Mr. Hodge for the morning, help students, walk the halls, chat with teachers, and finish with lunch in Mr. Hodge’s Office! Bidding Starts at $25
  • You and a guest (ONE GUEST from Irving) are invited to join Mr. Packer for a day at one of Chicagoland’s many museum campuses. Choose from such popular museums as The Field Museum, The Museum of Science and Industry, The Brookfield Zoo and others. Mr. Packer will also provide lunch and the purchase of one souvenir (valued approximately at $10.00). Mr. Packer will contact the winner to decide on a SATURDAY in MAY when the prize may be redeemed along with a menu to choose from as to which museum will be attended. Bidding Starts at $25
  • Books and Treats! Ms. Noonan will take you to the Book Table to pick out a brand new book. Then, we will head over to Cold Stone for ice cream or Sugar Fixe for a treat! 2 Winners, Bidding Starts at $25
  • Librarian for a Day! Join Ms. Noonan in the library for an entire day of being a librarian. Help check books in and out, read to classes and do all things library. (tentatively 4/8) Bidding Starts at $25
  • Bedtime Story with Mr. Blecha! Your favorite Kindergarten teacher will come to your home and read you a story! Bidding Starts at $25
  • Lunch at Pete’s with Ms. Kontos for a winner and a friend! Bidding starts at $20
  • One lucky winner will invite three friends to join Ms. Kelly at the Momenta Junior Dance Concert and then get Ice Cream after the show (Sat. 3/7 @ 3 pm or Sun. 3/8 @ 2 pm). Bidding Starts at $30

Students will enjoy a relaxing afternoon of creativity and collaboration with new friends. Students can bring their favorite notebooks, pens, pencils, and/or markers. Mrs. Heidloff will provide a snack and some drawing tools to share. 15 Students, $15

Meet the Pie in the Face Teams!!

The Irving Fun Fair is this Saturday, 2/22 from 11 am to 2 pm. At the Fun Fair, as always, there will be a Pie In The Face Competition to see which team of Irving staff members will get a pie thrown in their face!

Here are the teams:

  • Team #1: “Three Men And A Baby” – Mr. Blecha, Mr. Hancock, Mr. Sak and Ms. Stenger
  • Team #2: “1, 2, 3, and an AP” – Ms. Mura, Ms. Planek, Mr. Williams, and Mrs. Kaunelis
  • Team #3: “Dream Girls And The Fly Guy” – Mrs. Sak, Ms. Zaragoza, Ms. Williams, Ms. Browning and Mr. Hodge!

*The Team that has the most money in their jug at 2:00 pm on Saturday gets the pies in the face in the auditorium! So empty your piggy banks, check under your couches, and empty your change cups in the car!

Students can bring in money all during the week of 2/18 to 2/21 and during the Fun Fair on Saturday too. The jugs will be in the office!!

The Fun Fair & Silent Auction Saturday, February 22, 2020 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

 

 

Admission is free, all are welcome, come and enjoy carnival games in the gym!!

Tickets will be 4 tickets for $1 to buy cotton candy, popcorn, pizza and sodas, as well as, bingo, airbrush tattoos, sand art, candy art, a photo booth, face painting, balloon animals, and Dancing For Desserts!

The Silent Auction with the always popular teacher parties and classroom baskets will be open for bidding in the Kindergarten Wing during the Fun Fair!!
