Our 2nd Virtual PTO Meeting will be on Thursday, May 7th at 7 pm.
The main meeting follows the Executive Board meeting at 6:30 pm. We will be announcing the nominations for Board positions for the 2020-21 School Year, continuing our discussion of how to support our Irving community, and how to honor our 5th graders, our retiring teachers and all of the year end activities. There are many different ways to be involved! We are all the PTO and we need you to join.

Last day for CAN DO Community Challenge!

Morning all! Today is the LAST day for the CAN DO Community Challenge – we are in 2nd place with $3821 (The PTO matched the first $1000). Yahoo!

Meal Distribution and Support

Reminder – Every Monday from 10:30-1:00 you can pick up a bag of breakfast and lunch items for each kid from Longfellow. The wonderful women running it have masks and gloves, and everything follows social distancing (only 1 person allowed at a time).
If you are unable to pick up the items yourself, please PM me (Alison Price – tiggerap2000@gmail.com) or let anyone on the PTO know and we’ll arrange pick up for you (I’ll have mask and gloves for contact free drop off!
