PTO Meeting Thursday, September 5, 2013

We hope you can join us for the first PTO meeting of the year, which is on Thursday, September 5 at 6:30 in the Library/Media Center on the second floor. As always, free child care is provided. This year our 5th Grade Girl Scout troop is providing child care under adult supervision.

This month’s meeting will include an introduction of new teachers, presentation of the 2013-2014 PTO budget (see budget details here), an update from Mr. Sakelleris on Trivia Night as a new fundraiser, and an update on school activities by the always entertaining Principal Hodge.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

It’s time to choose the winner of the Box Tops summer collection contest!

Every baggie turned in will receive a prize and all will be entered into a drawing to win an Irving T-shirt!

1) Find a baggie (the one sent home or any bag) fill it with the BT you collected over the summer (any amount is appreciated!)
2) Write the child’s first and last name and new teachers name on the baggie
3) Return it to school the week of August 26th, (front office or their classroom)
4) Drawing will take place on Friday August 30th at 8am
