Help One, Help ALL- We need water balloon fillers!!

The Math Committee needs your help to fill water balloons on Tuesday, Sept 9th right after dismissal. Every year the Math Committee rewards the students who completed our summer math incentive with a splash party after school. We usually have a really fun water balloon fight!
Our splash party is on Sept 10th so the balloons need to be ready the day  before. We need 10-12 volunteers to fill about 50 balloons each. After a summer of block parties we should all be experts at tying water balloons so hopefully this will go quickly!
Email Hilary Klein or carroyo.org if you can volunteer or have any questions.

Form and Fee Night – August 14, 2014 – 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Class lists!
Eagle Extras Information!
Pay your fees!
Ask questions!

Form & Fee Night is Thursday, August 14, from 4:30-6:30pm. If you have not already paid your school fees and lunch fees online then bring your checkbook to Irving at this time to do so.  The form is available on the District 97 website.

More fun than that, though, is seeing the class assignment lists that are posted. Look outside the school’s front door to see which teacher your child has. Note that the lists will come down that night in order to make some changes. Class lists are not posted online for privacy reasons. (Please do not share photos of a class list on Facebook or other public online setting.)

The school is open on Form & Fee night, so new families can tour around on their own and the kids MIGHT be able to peek in their new classrooms.

Eagle Extras, Irving’s after-school program will have information about Fall Class Offerings, and when registration will begin this year.  More details to follow.

Families do not have to stay for the whole time. Just drop by and say hello while you fill out forms, ask any questions of the front office staff or the school nurse, visit the PTO info table and hang out with parents you haven’t seen in a while.

See you soon!

End of Year Dance Info

Dear Parents,

As many of you know, on the last day of school, Tuesday, June 10th, the staff performs an End of the Year Dance. This year there is a twist! There will also be some student participation!

The Performance will begin at 2pm. Please see the staging/seating map attached. This year we will ask that parents sit in the section behind the grade level your students are in. (If you have multiple students, just choose one!) so that you have prime view of your very own young stars! The seating areas will also be marked for your convenience.

In case of rain, the dance will be in the upstairs gym and everyone is welcome to come there.

Students will be dismissed by teachers from their usual exits, so please meet them there. If it rains, parents are welcome to wait in the auditorium after the dance before dismissal.

Look forward to seeing you there!!!

This has been such a wonderful year! Thank you to you and your fantastic kids!

Warm Regards,
Irving Staff
