The Move-A-Thon is a week-long virtual event that will take place from Sunday, September 6th to Saturday, September 12th. This FUNdraiser is being held in lieu of the Fun Run this year, but the goal is the same: to help the PTO continue its important work on behalf of our Irving community. In addition to the things it does every year (book donations, Eagles Extras scholarships, staff appreciation week, and much more), this year the PTO distributed hundreds of e-gift cards (over $10,000) to Irving families in need of assistance.

The Virtual Move-A-Thon is open to all Irving families! Students can roll in their wheelchairs, scoot, bike, walk, jog, run, rollerblade, rollerskate, skateboard, dance and/or do other movements, and record their movements and times at https://forms.gle/XHSqkzwt8PRKkdaS9. Prizes will be awarded to the students in each grade with the most minutes and the most different types of movements performed. Families who are in a position to do so are invited to make donations using a no-frills donations platform: http://bidpal.net/irvingsvirtualmoveathon.

Please submit a photo or short video of your kiddo or whole family participating in the Move-A-Thon by email to FunRun@IrvingPTO.com for inclusion in an end-of-event slideshow (and possibly the school yearbook).
