IRVING’S 5TH ANNUAL HISPANIC HERITAGE WEEK: OCT. 7-11TH
We will kick off the celebration with the performance: AMERICA: the continent by Old Town School dance ensemble in the auditorium on Oct. 7th.
12:30pm grades 3rd-5th
1:30 grades K-2nd.
Each performance will be approximately 45 min. long.

Irving Events This Week -9/23

Tonight (Tuesday), 6:30 PM Join us in the Library for the Diversity and Inclusion Committee Meeting. Dinner and Childcare provided! Details here.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) 7:00-8:00 PM Room Parent – Irving Media Center.

Thursday Pacers 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM! Pacers is Irving’s very own weekly ‘running club’ on Thursdays. The kiddos come out of the school during their lunch/recess time and run around the perimeter of the school [Cuyler to Harvard, Harvard to Ridgeland, Ridgeland to Fillmore, Fillmore to Cuyler and back around]. Three laps around the school equals one mile and a foot charm! In order for this program to be successful, we need parent volunteers to supervise the students as they run. Sign up here to learn more and help our kids get ready for the Fun Run!
Friday September 27, 3:00 to 4:00 PM Garden Club – Please join us for Garden Club on Friday, Sept. 27th from 3:00 to 4:00 in the Eagle’s Landing (also known as the Irving Gardens.) No need to sign up or RSVP, just drop by for good fun digging in the dirt.

What’s Garden Club? When does it meet? When is the Book Fair? What’s the sign up for Zero Waste or Pacers? Who do I ask about donating deserts for teachers lunches?
If these are the kind of questions that bring you to our PTO page, we want you to find the answers! There are several ways to stay up to date.
- Check the Getting Involved (formerly the Volunteer) Page. You’ll find contact info, the dates for events (that we know so far), brief descriptions and other links. This page is constantly updated, so check the date at the bottom for the latest updates!
