Do you know another language?

Irving’s World Language Program is coming back in 2023!

World Language is a program running during lunch or after school where Irving students can sign up to learn the basics of a new language. We have some great options so far but would LOVE a couple more offerings. (Spanish and ASL specifically would be great!) You do not need to be a native speaker, since these classes are just to teach elementary students the basics! 

Teaching these classes is a PAID position and you can choose whether you want to hold the classes during lunch or after school – whatever works best for your schedule. Interested? Please email lvanderberg@gmail.com.

Fall Parent Parties

Parent Parties are coming! The following parents have graciously offered to host for Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade parents:

  • 1st and 3rd Grades Joint Party hosted by Scott Drasler and Emma Arnold on Saturday, October 22. Get all the details here!

  • 2nd Grade Party hosted by Liliana Mosqueda on Friday, October 28. Stay tuned for more details, but this will be a potluck style party, so sign up here to pass a dish!

Call for Yearbook Photos

The yearbook comittee needs your help! We are requesting photos from the first day of school, Movie Night and the Fun Run. Please upload your photos to our Google Drive HERE or email them to irving-yearbook@googlegroups.com and we will use as many as we can for this year’s yearbook.
