PTO Meeting Thursday, October 3
We hope you can join us for the October PTO meeting, which is this week on Thursday, October 3 at 6:30pm in the Library/Media Center on the second floor. As always, free child care is provided.
This month’s meeting will include a brief presentation from students on Irving’s HAWC (Health and Wellness Committee). They’ll talk about their new initiatives, like the recent veggie tastings. Principal Hodge will present the newly released ISAT scores and will discuss how these assessments will look different as we move to the Common Core standards.
We hope to see you there. If you are unable to attend and would like to discuss anything on the agenda, please contact Laura Crawford at lauracrawford47@gmail.com, Jodie Ackerman at jodiepto@yahoo.com, or any of the other PTO board members (click here for contact info).
