It’s that time of year again…Olympic Day!

2 Sessions:
Morning Session (grades K-2) – 7:45 am – 11:15 am
Afternoon Session (grades 3-5) 12 noon – 3:00 pm

Volunteers needed.  Contact Mr. Hancock at jhancock@op97.org or complete the form here and return to the main office.

 

May 1st – 6th

Monday – Ball and Rope Day – bring your favorite ball and/or jump rope to school and use it during recess.

Tuesday – Healthy Heart Day – wear red and bring a healthy snack to lunch.

Wednesday – ACES – All children exercising simultaneously (10:55am -11:10am).

Thursday – Sports Hat Day – wear your favorite sports hat to school and bring a water bottle to use if you have one.

Friday – School Spirit Day – wear Irving school clothing or anything with red and white in it and make sure to get at least 10 hours of sleep tonight.

Saturday – District 97’s Annual Fun Run (8:00 am at Lindburg Park).

Yearbooks are on sale now until May 12th. Sign up with Signupgenius and we will deliver a yearbook directly to the student mid-May!

Visit the Book Bike on the blacktop after school on April 26 at 2:00 pm.

You can check out books and other resources right from the playground after school!  Return them to any Oak Park Public Library branch when you are done.  Need a public library card?  Visit the bike!  Don’t have your card with you? No problem…they can look it up!  Click here for the flyer.
