WAHINGTON IRVING’S BLACK HISTORY MONTH SPRIT WEEK ACTIVITIES!

Happy Black History Month Irving Eagles! Dropping in to acknowledge and celebrate the great things taking place this Black History Month. Our kiddos are in great hands and I hope you, their family members, have been checking in with them about the topics they are covering throughout the month. The celebration of Black and African American heritage, contributions, and culture is so very important and Irving has done a great job this February.

DIVINC took the opportunity to highlight our Black Teachers and Administrators by posting a tribute on the main office corridor bulletin board.

We would also like to give a special shout out to the amazing Special Curriculum team. Our library, music, and language spaces have been curated in honor of Black History Month.

Keep celebrations, appreciation, and learning alive at home as well.

DIVINC is here to help. Remember, Black history is our history!
