COOKIES NEEDED!!

The 15th annual Irving School COOKIE CRUMBLE and CRAFT FAIR is on Saturday, December 13, 2014. We need homemade holiday treats and are offering a surprise treat for the class that brings in the most cookies. There will be a graph in the hall by the office!

This is a great opportunity for families of Irving to share family traditions and raise money for important programs and improvements at the school.

Each participating family is asked to prepare five dozen of their favorite holiday cookies or confections and deliver them to the office on Friday, December 12th during school hours, or to the mini-gym on Saturday, December 13th between 7:30 & 9:00am. No chocolate chip, please. We will have curbside drop off from 8-9 in the front of the school.

On December 13th volunteers will set up the treats for sale in the mini-gym. Beginning at 9:00am, customers may purchase an empty box for $10.00 and then fill them with a variety of goodies for their holiday entertaining. What a bargain!!!

You don’t bake? No worries, you can help in another way. We need volunteers for setting up, maintaining during the event, and cleaning up afterwards!

You can sign up to bring cookies and volunteer HERE!!

Irving Gardening Group Needs Your HELP!!!

Come help out with the Irving Garden this Friday, Nov. 7th and/or Saturday, Nov. 8th!

Even though it’s fall, there is still plenty to do. Join us on Friday at 3PM to plant garlic and harvest herbs and on Saturday at 9:30 to plant radishes and continue harvesting herbs. Meet up at the Garden, located at the south end of the building and bring a trowel if you have one! Ideal activity for kids and parents. Contact Denise Frank at denisefrank1@hotmail.com with any questions or to join the gardening email list.
