7th Annual Woman’s Guild Movie Fundraiser

The 7th Annual Oak Park Women’s Guild Movie Fundraiser, in support of The Wieland Family, will be Saturday, February 27th at Lake Theatre – Classic Cinemas. We will be showing Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2. Doors open at 9am, and the movie begins at 10am.  Tickets are only $5 each.  We will also be raffling off some amazing raffle baskets before the movie begins.
While Oak Parker’s Lisa and Mike Wieland were expecting their third child, a colon blockage was discovered. Lisa had to begin chemotherapy at 5 months pregnant. In October, Lisa and Mike, along with their older children, Andrew age 7 and Maddie age 4, welcomed a healthy baby girl, Sydney.  Lisa has had to stop working as a full-time nurse to continue treatment. 100% of the proceeds from the fundraiser will be dedicated to the Wieland Family to assist with Lisa’s care and recovery.
