The online listing will be viewable later this week, but Bidding opens: Wednesday, February 18, 6:00 p.m. and Bidding closes: Friday, February 20, 10:00 p.m.
After the online auction goes live, to place a bid, click to view the item you’re interested in, then click on “Leave a Comment” or “Leave a Reply” and enter the dollar amount you wish to bid. The first time you do this you will be asked for your name and email address. This is how you will be contacted if you win (emails are hidden from public view). You do not need to leave any other information in the Comment, just your bid amount, for example “$200.” You need to keep posting comments to increase your bid; it doesn’t happen automatically.

New for this year: If you are the winner of an online auction item or spot in party, you will be sent an invoice where you can pay online. Once you pay we will arrange local pick-up or delivery only; items cannot be shipped.

Are you ready to PARTY Irving? Back for a second year we are selling tickets to parties hosted by teachers and parents. Here is a sneak peak, as of 2/9/15, of some of the fun parties that Irving students can participate in!
Tickets to these parties will be available when the Online Auction opens at6pm on Wednesday February 18th. The Online Auction closes promptly at10pm on Friday February 20th, and spots are first come / first served. The party prices listed below are a flat fee per ticket – no bidding on these items. If you purchase a party ticket, your email confirmation of your payment serves as your confirmation.
Teacher/Staff Hosted Parties
Dancing with the Stars! – Dancing with the Stars! Spend time with the “Beats ” (Ms. Collins, Ms. Noonan, Mrs. Parkinson, Mrs. Sakalleris, Mrs. Solomon and Ms. Kekatos) while learning steps from their choreography. Have a blast dancing to fun music, learning moves and hanging out with your favorite local celebrities. Finally, join them in their “End of the Year” performance on the last day of school! This is open to Boys and Girls ages K-5. This will include 2 rehearsal times between 5-1-2015 and 6-5-2015 that will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesdays and the final performance on last day of school, June 5th. Open to 25 students. Tickets $25 each.
Be Mr. Sak for a Night! – Hosted by Mr. Sak at Irving School before the sleepover on Friday, April 24th from 5:00-7:00 PM. Hang out with Mr. Sak and do all the things that he loves: 1) Watch WWE Wrestling; 2) Play Sports in the Gym; 3) Eat Salerno’s Pizza (and lots of it); 4) Devour lots of Pop (Mountain Dew or Wild Cherry Pepsi preferably); and 5) Enjoy All you can eat Gobstoppers! Open to 25 students in K-5th. Tickets $25 each.
Manicures! – Manicures with your favorite 1st grade teachers (Ms. Pelling, Mrs. Solomon, and Ms. Kekatos). On Tuesday, March 24th at 3:30 PM meet at Angel’s Nail Salon for manicures. Open to 6 students. Tickets $30 each.
Ice Cream Social – Join Ms. Diehl, Cruz, Simon and Cairns for an ice cream party! Each winner brings a friend and makes their own ice cream sundaes. There will be music and games too! Party to be held on April 8th from 2:00-3:00 PM in Room 208. Open to 4 students, K-5. Tickets $20 each.
Spring time Picnics – A picnic for Kindergarten-1st grade or 2-3rd grade students with Mr. Degman on Friday, May 15th from 11:45 AM-12:40 PM at Barrie Park. Mr. Degman will bring the blankets, games, and students will bring the lunches. Mr. Degman will walk the kids to the park for the picnic lunch. Open to 10 students each. Tickets $15 each.
Games and Giggles Pizza Party! – Join Mrs. Parkinson, Ms. Heaphy, and Ms. Deshaies for a party! Open to Kindergarteners to join us from 4-6pm on Friday, February 27 to play board games, practice some jokes and eat some pizza for dinner. (Pizza, drinks and laffy taffy provided!) This will take place in the Kindergarten Pod. Open to 15 students. Tickets $25 each.
Zumba Lunch – Zumba Lunch event with Mrs. Browning. On Wednesday, February 25th from 11:10-12:15 bring your nut free lunch to Room 214 to Ms. Browning’s classroom. Kids will eat, dance, and have a ton of fun. Open to 8 students in grades 2-5. Tickets $15 each.
Spanish Movie and Craft Party! – “Book of Life in Spanish” Movie and Craft Party hosted by Ms. Zaragoza, Saliny, Tague, and Nieto. Open to K-5th grade. Students will meet at the Eagle’s Nest Studio (Ms Tague’s room) where they will make a craft. Then they will watch the movie in the auditorium. Popcorn, juice and snacks will be provided. (Please make a note if a student has allergies.) This will be held on Friday April 17th from 3:00-5:00. Open to 30 students. Tickets $15 each.
Junction Cafe – Luncheon trip adventure to JUNCTION CAFE at 7401 Madison in Forest Park for 5 Students and Ms. Gullo. Have lunch delivered by a choo choo! Ms. Gullo will schedule with families for the week after school is out and transportation provided. Open to 6 students. Tickets $30 each.
Technology Olympics – Technology Olympics Competition for 3rd-5th grade students. Events like typing, picture taking, and many more will be competed in to see who gets the gold. Party held on Wednesday, March 18th from 2:00-3:00 PM in the Computer Lab. Open to 20 students. Tickets $15 each.
Movie and Popcorn Party! – Hosted by Ms. Kaunelis, Pelling, Noonan, Sakamoto, and Parkinson. Watch Big Hero 6 and enjoy popcorn on March 18th from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Irving library! Open to 25 students. Tickets $15 each.
Sports/Movie/Pizza Party – Join Mr. Dipaolo and Mr. Hancock for games in gym and outdoors. Pizza and drinks will be provided for all students. Please notify Mr. Hancock in advance if there are food allergies. First half of the party will be playing sports in the gym and second half will be in the auditorium watching a sports movie.Friday, April 3rd from 3:00-6:00 PM. Open to 20 students in K-5th. Tickets $25 each.
Harry Potter Party! – Accio Harry Potter fans! All aboard the Hogwarts Express! Come experience some magic with Professor Homann on May 6th from 2-3:15 in room 213! Get sorted into houses, drink Butterbeer, try Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, eat Pretzel Wands, and play Quidditch for the House Cup! Bring your wands and robes! Open to 20 students in grades 2nd-5th. Tickets $20 each.
Knitting Nancy Party! – Join Mrs. Aguilar, Mrs. Heidloff, and Mrs. Klette after school for a knitting party. Students will learn how to knit using a knitting nancy, and we will end our party with hot cocoa and a cookie. Party to be held on Thursday, May 14th from 3:00-4:45 PM in Room 109 (Mrs. Heidloff’s Room). Open to 15 students. Tickets $15 each.
Parent-Hosted Parties
Totally Awesome Lego Build Party – Using our collection of over 4,000 legos, 12 kids can build unique creations or choose from various sets, including Lego Friends, Ninjago, Minecraft and the Lego Movie. Kids may also participate in contests for Lego prizes. All children will receive a “Totally Awesome Lego” goody bag. Grades K-2nd. Light food and drink will be served. Held on Saturday, March 21st 2:00-4:00 PM. Hosted by Vanessa Izar-McFadden. Open to 12 people. Tickets $20 each.
Girls Tea Party – Party for girls at an elegant table with finger sandwiches, dessert cakes, cocoa, and herbal tea. Formal manners and instructions included. This party is for 4-6 girls grades K-5th. Held on Friday, May 8th from 3:00-4:30 PM. Hosted by Mariannell Bassett-Dilley. Open to 5 people. Tickets $15 each.
Just Dance Party– Kids can show off their best moves at this “Just Dance” Party at the Empty Bottle. Open to kids in K-5th. Held on Saturday, March 7th. Hosted by Megan and Bruce Finkelman. Tickets $20 each.
Bridal Tea Party for Ms. Kekatos – Tea party activities, snacks, and games. Ms Kekatos will bring her wedding dress and wedding album to share. This party is for 10 girls grades 1st-3rd. Please wear your “wedding best” outfits for a bridal themed tea party for Ms. Kekatos. Hosted by Joanne Smyth. August 9 from 1-3. Open to 10 people. Tickets $20 each.
Minecraft Madness Management – While your kids play Minecraft on their devices or laptops or our XBOX, we will help Mineclueless parents learn what’s what: how to set up a multiplayer LAN on your Wi-Fi, how to join a multiplayer server, the different ways Minecraft can take your money, when to worry, and for the truly ambitious: how to install a mod. Bring your questions! We will provide drinks and a light snack.Saturday, March 14th from 2-4. 8 Families. Hosted by Manning and Jim Peterson. Open to 8 families. Tickets $20 for a family or $15 just for one child.
Mother and Daughter Yoga at the Yoga Centre- Moms and daughters (grades K-5) can participate in this unique experience of doing yoga side by side. This class with take place at the Yoga Centre. Sunday 2-3:30 PM (date TBD). Party is hosted by Laurie and Steve Berggren. Open to 10 pairs. Tickets are $20 per pair.
Tacos and Tequila –Fiesta for 12 hombres/ mujeres to enjoy a carnivore taco bar with homemade tortillas and salsas. Margaritas, Tequila cocktails and other adult beverages will be featured as well as fabuloso desserts. Hosted by Sue Kehias and Norma Lopez. Open to 12 people. Tickets $20 each.
Cocktails Against Humanity – A Cocktails Against Humanity Party! A cocktail/beer party revolving around the game Cards Against Humanity. We will provide the cocktails/beer, some light snacks, the game Cards Against Humanity, and you bring your sense of humor and friends who blush easily. Held on Saturday, March 21st at 8:00 PM. Hosted by Meredith Farster and Kevin Johnson. Open to 20 people. Tickets $20 each.
Karaoke Night – Karaoke Party with Mr. Sak. Come sing under the stars on Drumm Field. Held on Friday, July 17 from 7-10pm. Adult beverages and light snacks will be served. Hosted by Nick Sakellaris, Kara Sakellaris, Dawn and JD Drumm. Open to 50 people. Tickets $20 each.
Craft Brew and Darts in the Garage – Come hang out with fellow beer lovers. Play darts while sampling a selection of homebrews and local microbrews. Saturday, June 20th from 7-11 PM. Hosted by Mattie Langenberg and Laura Crawford. Open to 20 people. Tickets $20 each.
70’s Fondue Party– On Saturday, April 18th, 10 lucky parents get to eat Fondue in their favorite 70s themed clothing. Food will be provided but bring your favorite beverage to share. Hosted by Molly McNamara and James Allen. Open to 10 people. Tickets $15 each.
Garage Poker Party -Enjoy snacks, drinks, and camaraderie with fellow Irving parents. Ticket purchase also buys entry into a pot-limit Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament with the chance to win bragging rights and prizes of questionable monetary value. This party is open for 11 cardsharks. Held on Friday, March 20th at 8:30pm. Hosted by Nate Derhammer. Open to 11 people. Tickets $25 each.
